There are various "pots" of money available from the European Union but most are difficult for individuals to access. Projects that involve the environment, energy or education in its widest sense are most likely to be eligible. Your best option is to contact your local Business Link or "Euro Centre" hosted by your local Chamber of Commerce in the first instance.

Local Council Grants Print
Local Councils often have small amounts of money available for specific projects, which can range from help for small businesses to planting hedges. With over 40 different local Councils in the Region it is not possible to list all the sources of funding currently available.

If you have a project that does not fit with the mainstream grants or need business advice it may be worth contacting either your Council or Business Link.
